SIMEC - IRON DUKE MINE SITE SA

MCE Designed a cascading modular chute system to allow removal of grinding media. This was a great challenge due to the limited space and project turn-around time!

SIMEC - PELLET PLANT ID FAN FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS

MCE Modelled and analysed the air-flow of the ID Fan using Ansys to optimise efficiency in the system.

SIMEC - PELLET PLANT COOLER COLUMN REPLACEMENT

MCE Undertook condition assessment, reporting for the Cooler Columns resulting in remediation design for the in-situ replacment of a number of main support columns.

2022/23
GFG ALLIANCE - Project Lazarus - Electric Arc Furnace

Metric were engaged to assist with developing early layouts and concept models of the proposed EAF ahead of EPCM engagement. This is an exciting project for Whyalla, and MCE are looking forward to assisting with this project as it rolls out.
